About Della Neely-Stout

My Client-First Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.  All of this becomes even more important when you realize that I do not charge a huge 5, 6, 7+% commission!   I do it all, no "holds barred" for a listing fee of 1.69%!

That said, in my experience as a fourth generation, native Baton Rouge Realtor professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first.   When you succeed, so do I! This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.  When my clients are successful, I am too.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in the Baton Rouge, LSU, Highland Road, Jefferson Highway, Prairieville, Gonzales or Denham Springs areas, please contact me.

The Discount Fee Expert  My listing fee:  1.69%   Saving everyone thousands of dollars without sacrificing service!  Don't Over Pay for your REALTOR'S services!

I do not charge a hefty 5, 6 or 7% commission when I list a  home.  The Realtor fee is actually two fees normally expressed as one.  One part of the fee is for the listing broker.  The other part, usually half of what is charged in total, is for the buyer's broker.  For example:  A 6% commission is broken into two parts.  3% for the listing broker and 3% for the buyer's broker.

I do not work that way.   I charge 1.69% for the listing fee.    If I sell the property, there is an additional 1.3% for that service.  If another agent sells the property, it is 2.3%, unless you wish to offer more as an incentive.  I do not take bonuses as a general rule.  After 26+ years as a REALTOR in the Greater Baton Rouge area, I have found that being fair and not greedy creates win-win situations for everyone.  It seems to work out well for everyone.  But my Realtor friends would rather I not do this.  They would rather have me staying in line and step with the status quo.  Sorry, My Dears!  Fair is fair.  Ask any of my real estate "Fans".  They will tell you that this is more than fair to them!
